Approximately 30 minute journey by bus from St Helier, the views are pretty amazing, there's a decent walk from the top across the causeway, there is a warning bell which sounds to prevent you from being stranded when the tide comes in, lots of rock pools in the crevices & a memorial in stone as you walk towards the light... Not too far away from St Helier, easy to drive or even get the bus. Has parking facilities, a restaurant, toilets and some of the best views on the island. Walk out to the lighthouse itself at low tide or see it surrounded by the sea at high tide. A must visit.

Nice walk to the lighthouse when the tide is out. Great rock formations, worth a visit, but be careful not to get caught out by the tide!! a warning bell goes off when you need to make your way back to the mainland.

'La Corbiere' is the extreme south western point of Jersey in St. Brelade. The pristine white lighthouse stands high on dark craggy rocks on this rugged dramatic coastline. The name 'La Corbiere' meaning 'a place where crows gather', warnings of a siren sounding when the tide begins to gallop up the rocks and a report of the sad drowning of... More

A pleasant short walk from land to the lighthouse at low tide along a cement path on the rocks. Impressive view of the breaking waves. Make sure you calculate the time before the tide comes up. Careful with the seagulls if you're eating - they can be aggressive.

Worth a visit for an hour to walk out to the lighthouse when the tide is out. Reasonable walk on the road which is safe and smooth though when you get to the lighthouse there is a small hill. A siren sounds when the tide starts to come in. Along the walk there are several German gun bunkers for you... More

Have been here a number of times but this was the first occasion we were able to walk between the waves to the lighthouse. A beaufiful spot as we stood watching the encroaching sea threaten to engulf our retreat to the mainland. A wonderful if somewhat windy and wild corner of the island.

If you time the tides right, at low tide you can walk across the causeway to the lighthouse. There are lots of coves & rocks and rock pools for kids to play in and out 6 year old son loved it! It is interesting to visit again at high tide when the lighthouse is inaccessible. On a clear day, the... More
