We spent an entire day in the Glendalough National Park. There is plenty of parking (€4 for the day). Make sure that you don't leave anything valuable in the car. There is loads of signs warning of this. We didn't have any mishaps. You can get a map of the trails from the information office for 50cents. There are trails... More

Make sure you take a quick hike to the upper lake in Glendalough in wicklow mountains national park. It is a beautiful place. It has a few waterfalls along the way (small ones). The hike to Poulanass waterfall is steep but it is worth it!

A great time of year to visit and see the deer and sheep. Things have a slower pace and you have the countryside to yourself. Beautiful views and hikes with so much history.

Wicklow Mountains National Park is a very beautiful place with lakes in the middle of Mountains, some waterfalls qnd many sheeps. The way from Dublin till Wicklow is also very beautiful. It's possible to see sheeps, horses, cows, little villages. A bucolic scenario.

Stunning ride through this mountain, not to be missed. Good roads and excellent views. We were lucky with the weather so. Try and pick a clear day.

This is an absolutely incredible place. The views are stunning. I would recommend the white trail going counterclockwise - it is quite long, but worth it. Even in January the colors of the water and trees were mesmerizing. Absolutely wonderful for a day hike!

You really feel close to nature going through this landscape. There have been a lot of films produced here, and you can feel the history passing. We were lucky and didn't have (too much) rain.

Eleven of us did the Glendalough Spinc Ridge walk on New Years day - four and half hours, mainly over railway sleepers which were treacherous with ice in many places! Great craic, spectacular views. It's a must-do when in the Glendalough area. Both lakes clearly visible from this walk. The railway sleepers are a subject of constant discussion- it's a... More

Fabulous views and walks. Suitable for all ages and those of lesser mobility! Get out and see what's on your doorstep before jetting off around the world !
