    Swords ladies day out.
Myself and 15 other ladies from our club in Swords co dublin came here for a day trip to Wells Gardens and house. We had a lovely visit and were escorted around the beautiful house by the very informative Aileen who was very attentive to us all. After our tour Aileen very kindly brought us to a lovely tea room of which they had specially opened for us as the season is now finished and we had a selection of lovely drinks and delicious warm scones and cream and jam(yum yum),also a lovely selection of fresh cakes. We then took a walk in the walled gardens which was beautiful. We would definitely recommend a visit to this lovely house and gardens if you are around the wexford area. Again a huge thank you to the wonderful Aileen.

Lovely weekend breakaway and would recommend.
Stayed at the Wells House & Gardens Accomodation for the St. Patricks weekend. We were in one of the newly renovated court yard cottages and we were very impressed. The cottage was spacious and had everything we needed. We were a family of 2 adults and 2 children. It was a two bed cottage however the downstairs living room had a pull out sofa bed and the room could then convert easily from a living room to a 3rd bedroom. Absolutely spotless and beds were very comfortable. The house wasn't open when we were there however we did avail of the playground, play area, garden walks and farm which the kids really enjoyed. The only downside to our stay was the checkout time of 10am which is much earlier than I have found anywhere else we have stayed, but other than that I would definitely recommend a stay here.

Fabulous stay in self catering cottage
We stayed last weekend for 3 nights. I fell across Wells House self catering accommodation online by accident really and we were so glad. We had a really lovely stay. The newly renovated accommodation is lovely. It had everything we needed. After the gates close to the public we had the grounds to ourselves more or less. There were a few other cottages occupied but we saw very few people. It was so peaceful. It was very good value for money we felt. The staff were lovely and helpful. The kids loved the animals, the walks and the playground. We attended the teddy bears picnic which the kids loved. We thought this place was a real hidden gem. We will definitely be back

Lovely day out, even the rain couldn't put a dampner on it!
24euro for a family ticket represented great value for money in comparison to other similar locations. Lovely walks, lovely playground plus the pet farm. Restaurant was closed so we brought a picnic and we were given complimentary tea and coffee which I thought was a really nice touch. What impressed me most was how clean and well maintained the grounds were, not a weed to be seen, and the animal enclosures were spotless! Would definitely recommend.

We picked here to please a toddler - but it was a very poor choice. The animal farm has random creatures in cages but nothing to handle. The land train was only in use for a school group - our toddler would have loved a ride. The walks were not well signposted - and the cafe was closed - help yourself to tea and coffee!. Looked like they were gearing up for the holiday weekend - shame we went a few days early. Playground was good though. Would not waste time and money visiting again

Lovely walks and the kids liked the animals but felt their easter event was designed to squeeze as much money as possible out of people with little actual value for money offered. We spent 40 euro for a egg hunt and access to the park with a small easter egg at the end. The train and another area cost 4 euro per person which we decided against ad we felt was not fair considering how much we had spent already. Will not be recommending it.

Very disappointing, apart from a beautiful small walled garden there is very little of interest to see. Charged full rate although house was closed.

I was so disappointed and sorry that I wasted our time and money on the visit. On payment of 27 euro €9pp, admission to see
4 rabbits , 1 guinea pig, one pig and a couple of birds and hens, a walk (which lasted approx 30 mins) around a miserable forest which on my last visit had lots of novelty tree carved characters , etc . sorry to say they are now sad and decaying from the elements.
The Cafe was closed , the house was closed yet we charged a full admission fee.
We were the only visitors/mugs for paying admission to no avail or enjoyment, and will most certainly not!!!!! be returning or recommending Wells House to anyone.

Not sure what happened to this place. We used to come here all the time, sometimes twice a week during spring or summer. Entry was reasonable so sometimes we came here only to eat in the restaurant. The food was lovely. That all changed now. Food is shocking, zero choice, couldn’t even get an icecream during the summer. No wonder the restaurant is constantly empty recently. Entry price tripled. Barely any animals left, the ones that are still there are in an awful state. Over all it really doesn’t worth going there anymore.

The Santa experience was great but the Elf chose to chat to certain kids only..excluding my child and a few other kids...makin dem feel v bad and excluded.
The prices of santa photos r v expensive from 45 euro and dey dont tel u in advance. Best to take ur own photos wen u visit santa. Waited v long for the free hot chocolate.in the care.while others who came after me was served immediatley...eventually received a cold hot chocolate that tasted v bad. The events in wells house is a scam.
