Like a lot of Irish pubs they confuse atmosphere with dirty and dusty ornaments everywhere and low lighting so it's not spotted. The back is more modern. Give the place a good clean!

This is a great pub for an Irish night,partys of all kinds,hen/stag night's and staff are friendly and helpful. Free music here and is situated in the main street which is handy for all.

Stayed in Athy for weekend. Went to Clancys on Thursday as live music. Great pub & lovely Guinness, pub is very small at front bar

Clancy's is a tiny little pub in a small town. There are a lot of whiskey's available with prices clearly marked. Walking in, we didn't feel immediately welcome or comfortable, but the bartender was very friendly once we started ordering our drinks. The Music Session...More
