Very pretty, quiet.

I was disappointed in Lawrenceburg, having traveled to Ethridge to visit the Amish community, I thought the town was rather ugly, but this park is really beautiful.

The museum and interactive options are not reliably open until Memorial Day. We went mid May, the weather was gorgeous, and several people were there, but nothing was open except the restaurant. Without the history it's just a nice State Park rather than "David Crockett" State Park. Even without the history, we had a nice time. The hikes were nice... More

Beautiful park with lots of wildlife, creeks and camping areas. Also has cabins by the lake and a swimming pool and restaurant. Paddle boats available at the lake.

Traveling though Tennessee, we detoured into David Crockett State Park to check out the restaurant at the park. It was early afternoon, with not too many guests, but the buffet was inexpensive and excellent. Our table by the window overlooked a beautiful view of the river below, making for a wonderful dining experience. Take the time and enjoy the drive... More

I have family in Lawrenceburg and have wanted to stay in the cabins at the park for a long time. We finally did in March. The cabin we stayed in was very nice. It was 2 bedroom, 2 bath. The kitchen was equipped with everything you need to cook with. (cookware, etc.), also plates silverware, etc. We stayed for 2... More

This is a fairly large, nice state park that includes camping, chalets, a lake, hiking trails, restaurant, swimming pool and more. Only reason for four star rating is that the restaurant was closed and so was the museum. We did enjoy the quietness and beauty of the park plus the birds of prey exhibit.

Even though you and camp out, grill out, swim, ride bikes, hike, you can also just drive thru and enjoy nature at its best.

I grew u going to this park(30yrs) and Ive never had a bad experience. Theres always an activity going on. I really enjoy the "crockett days" with settlers and pioneers. The rangers are very informative and you can tell they love their job. I recently moved away to virginia and have yet to cross a state park with as much... More
