Our first trip to the park and I am so glad we went. It is so quiet and peaceful. Loved seeing the leaves changing colors. I was disappointed the Museum was "Closed for the Winter" though, I am sure it would have been interesting too.

A park full of charm. Clean park, restrooms and showers. A picturesque waterfall to play in. A cute covered bridge. Very quaint and relaxing to enjoy with your family.

Granted, I've lived here all my life, but going to this park, named number one in the state of Tennessee, is always a pleasure and very enjoyable. Beautiful scenery, nice lake, and plenty of room for folks of all ages to run and play.

I don't see any grills at the primitive sites. Maybe two have fire rings with a grate on top. Others don't. Bring your own stove or small grill with charcoal or a grate to put over a campfire.

Yes, I do not remember how many but they are nice. It is very popular so I would try to reserve in advance. Or you could arrive mid week.
