I was staying in Dublin and took a day trip to Skerries by train. The train ride takes about half an hour. It was a beautiful sunny day. Skerries is a quaint picturesque town. The Mills has as you might have guessed has Wind Mills, two of them to be exact. There is also a nice tea room and a... More

We visited the Mills to buy some craft gifts and came away empty-handed. The main shop stock was almost entirely Christmas-themed tat. Nothing high quality, witty or original, based on this location. A missed opportunity in such a gorgeous spot: the architecture of the building, lovely rooms and the feel of the place. Plenty of good parking. We commented to... More

It is a really nice hand craft shop which selling a lot local made crafts. Recommend to see the wooden pens as they are good quality with reasonable price. The cafe is nice too but if they can heat up the scone then it would Bremen better.

Ive been here a few times with friends and family. theres a lot of space for kids(but is on the first floor). staff are very friendly and the prices/portions are very reasonable. Its a quieter cafe in the town so can be an easier place to sit back and relax in

Found the Skerries Mills and interesting place to walk around. There was a open market there the day we were there and all the merchandise looked fresh and inviting.

Been to the Mills a good few times now and it never disappoints, The wonderful home cooked food and cakes are wonderful and all in a lovely setting. They also have a gift shop you can look round after. Recommend you pay the mills a visit.

I brought my 9 yr old Goddaughter and her 11yr brother to Skerries Mill to do the mill tour. They had a fabulous afternoon and our guide was fabulous, full of fun and facts. We learnt all about growing the grain, types of mill stones and windmills and all about flour production. They got a chance to get hands on... More
