Black Bear Clock Repair. Booth E-15
We met The Clock Repair Lady, Joanie LaTorre, there. Amazing place. CLOCK REPAIR people are so hard to find these days and we found the best at a silly little flea market. Don’t let the flea market part of it affect your decision to use these people. She likes to use the flea market as a drop off pick up center because it allows her the week free to work in her shop working on clocks and do service calls in peoples homes on grandfather clocks. She explain to me how to work my clock and the dues and don’ts and how often to have it serviced and told me all about the history and maker of my clock. What a wonderful experience. She gave me a full estimate of repair and stuck to it gave me an approximate time frame and stuck to it and told me everything she was going to be doing to my clock before actually doing it . I have now since use them for several clocks and they know what they are doing. Great experience!!!

Good flea market, some stuff too overpriced but selections are plenty. I understand people like to take their dogs with them but personally this is not the place for large dogs. During our visit I had to dodge dog after dog so much that I couldn't enjoy browsing. I am terrified of dogs and to encounter pit bulls, doberman's, rotweiler's and german shepards continously was too much. Most of these had massive chains and harnessed restraints which I find a bit much. If these are needed to restrain a pet then it doesn't need to be in an overcrowed public place. Probably will not go back there.

Flea market with pushy vendors and crowded walkways. There's an outside and an air conditioned indoor section. Most vendors have fake jewelry or Trump posters and signs, there's a really good fresh produce vendor outside one of the main entrances. A lot of things are overpriced and you could get cheaper at a supermarket. One vendor was selling the small size octopus plushy for $30. There's a really good vendor for knives inside too.

My husband always gets his knifes and boots from this treasure. Bring cash though because a lot of merchants will cut you a better deal and some spots are strictly cash only. Avoid those awful ATMs and the fees.

We normally enjoy flea markets but we found this one disappointing with many vendors selling mass produced foreign products. Also although they had signs on the door stating masks required the vast majority of vendors did not have on masks and many shoppers also were maskless. For us personally the place wasn’t worth the risk and hard to buy from people that put others at risk.

Open Friday, Saturday and Sunday's every week. Lots of Treasures. Booths all over the outside in the front and the back. Plus the inside of the buildings are full of vendors. You never know what you will find. They have lots of parking. There are some Accessible Spaces on the far end from the entrance. Be prepared to stay awhile. There's lots to see. The building and the property are easily Accessible. Even for Power Wheelchair users, like myself. Traffic can be an issue getting off the Parkway and back on, unless you know the area. Highly recommend !! We visit here multiple times each time we are in the area.

It seems that there were fewer vendors this year. I believe this is due to the situation with COVID. Because I have asthma I can only tolerate a mask for a short time so my walk through was quick. I particularly was looking for a vendor who was there last year with a large selection of new books for all ages especially for children. Unfortunately I did not find that booth. My husband spent a bit more time inside and outside and found a couple of deals. I would have enjoyed looking a bit more since there are vendors with antiques and collectibles. Maybe next year things will be back to normal. If things are back to normal one cold easily spent two or more hours browsing.

They have old timey photos here which was pretty awesome. Not alot of yard sell stuff but still it was nice to walk around and look. They had a booth with really awesome temporary tattoos and a booth with wonderful smelling bath salts and natural soaps. They have homemade quilts and a store that any biker would love. Oh and they have a booth that sells jams and jellies oh and I almost forgot the booth that sells pickles that you've never heard of literally like mango pickles ghost pepper pickles maple pickles salt and vinegar pickles and the list goes on.. I was impressed.

The Great Smokies Flea Market is one of the largest flea markets i've ever seen. You normally wouldn't think of the flea market as an attraction that you would visit while on vacation, but this one should be. It is only a few minutes outside of Sevierville, TN conveniently located right off exit 407 and I-40. There are numerous outside vendors and many inside vendors too. Supposedly this flea market is open year round Fri, Sat and Sun 9-5. I always go on Saturday on my way out of town. I will make it my last stop before hitting the expressway. I love to search for some great finds. The outdoor market has more the the yard sale style vendors, where the inside vendors have more commercial products. You can even check out the booth that has Sugar Gliders--I think they are so cute. They have just about anything from nicknaks to produce to quilts and even pets. If you are in Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg, or Sevierville on the Weekend--I recommend stopping by. You never know what you will find.

I love to get Belts with names on them. You can't beat their prices. Hubby likes looking for tools. This is a must see for us whenever we are in the area.

Does anyone know any information on the breeders on miniature schnauzers at the flea market. I wanted to get in contact with them to find out when they will be there next.

Was just in this location. He is no longer here and the manager has no contact information.
There are two other places where he might have moved. Will let you know if I find him.

Will you be open the Friday, Saturday and Sunday before Christmas 2018?
Written 14 May 2018
Well, 7 months ahead might make it a little hard to answer that. I don't see anything on their website about it. I suggest you call directly. You can check their website for their email address.
