The Knoxville Civic Auditorium was built many, many decades ago, and it shows. My recommendation would be to tear it down and start over from scratch--in a more accessible location with restaurants, bars, and other ""before show" and after show" amenities nearby.

We attended an event at the Auditorium Section of this facility and really enjoyed it. Garrison Keillor was the event and the show was excellent. He is a good entertainer that most people will remember as a radio show host but now he tours and...More

Attended an Ice Bear game and although we were cheering for the visitors, we had a great time. Very friendly time and great selection of apparel. It is an older building, but it can really get rocking. Fun place to visit.
