Second visit, both times were for concerts. First was Sturgill Simpson June 2016 and then Jason Isbell April 2017. The theatre has great acoustics and is beautiful. The downtown area is pretty subdued and seems very safe when walking late at night.

This theater is one of a kind; It was renovated several years ago and the result is most beautiful and most extraordinaire! The impressive organ's pipes that are mounted on a nearby wall accentuate the vibes from the various musicians that caress the organ's ivories...More

It's been a while since I've been to the Tennessee Theatre but last night was the 20th anniversary of Riverdance and no better venue around for some of the greatest entertainment around right? Spoiled myself with front row balcony tickets and have never quite enjoyed...More

Love this theatre! Have attended KSO performances, etc. throughout the past. The ambiance of the theatre is very nice. Those working this event were very courteous and helpful. As usual, concessions were provided in the lobby - we could carry to our seats. I love...More

We saw Aram Demirjian conducting the Knoxville Symphony Orchestra featuring Adam Golka performing Chopin. That combo may be once in a lifetime so to say it was excellent may be irrelevant. It was great. The KSO will be here again. They were impeccable. Other than...More

Beautiful historic building! Good venue to see many different shows. Whether it's concerts or plays it's a good place to see a good show. Or go see the historic Wurlitzer organ.

I have expericenced an Amos Lee concert at this venue as well as a screening of Gone With the Wind. The building has been beautifully restored, including the bathrooms. The venue has the feeling of being vintage with convenient modern updates.

I'm bringing a group to town, and I don't think a concert is on our agenda. Is there any way for us to see the theater? I'm thinking my group might just like to see the place.

Sorry for the delay in answering. I believe they give tours, but best thing to do is contact the ticket office and ask.

Hello, I am needing to leave a quite lengthy review regarding the ethics of the sales department (one in particular to name) for the Knoxville Symphony Orchestra that perform at the Theatre. Is this the proper location to leave my review? Dr. T Broyles

I hope you haven't had a problem with tickets, but if you have had a problem with the Knoxville symphony tickets, you might want to direct your question to them. The KSO Board of Directors needs to know if the public is not... More
