It took years for the site to be redeveloped, but it is now so, so much prettier than before. I love the huge pond that creates a waterfall effect over near the convention center. I love the little section around the Rachmaninoff statue. I love...More

It was a little cloudy but fun to go to the observation deck and walk around at see the history. Park is also pleasant. Since it was so cold, not many visitors. If you are in Knoxville for other things, go check this place out!

Ride the elevator to the Observation Tower in the Sunsphere for free, and see the University of Tennessee, World's Fair Park, Tennessee River and more. Also, read the many markers with the history of the 1982 World's Fair and Knoxville.

My mother was visiting Knoxville so we went for a walk around World’s Fair Park. It’s really a great space right in the heart of the city. Check it out if you have a chance.

Be sure to take the elevator to the observation area. You can walk around the entire floor and see the area from a different perspective. I was there during the World's Fair - and currently live within 5 minutes. I love to go there as...More

Went the the Sunsphere for a private dinner for my son’s fraternity. Had never been in the building and couldn’t believe how nice it was. The 360 view of Knoxville was great.

there's a lot to do here. A great kids' playground and the sunsphere is worth the trip up, although the windows are quite dirty. At least it's free!

Pretty to walk though and enjoy the paths. Nicely lite at night. The path is clean and cement no problems with walking it.

World's Fair Park has a lot of things for kids to enjoy! There are a lot of outdoor festivals and fairs! It is extremely large with many points of entry and parking areas!

Yes, dogs are welcomed at the park. They may need to be on a leash if they like to run around a lot, but, if they stick with you, it should be okay to go without a leash.
