We had a great time! Beautiful mountain setting jus outside Nashville, just a quick detour off the highway. The guys that ran it were a hoot!

Walked the trail down to the Montgomery Bell tunnel. Pretty cool to see that much history in a secluded place. Enjoyed the visit to the Kingston Springs area

My son and I spent an hour or two hiking the two trails. We totaled a little over two miles for both of them. The hikes are both fairly easy with a few steep sections. The overlook is gorgeous and by walking up just a little further, you can take an amazing photo of someone sitting on the table rock... More

Both of the hikes are super short and, IMO, easy for kids. The hike for the bluff overlook is steep at points, but short. My teenager hates to exercise and he didn't complain. The views are amazing- definitely bring your camera. The hike to the Montgomery Bell tunnel is also short and is flat. You can get in the water... More

Beautiful setting. Great for canoes. Nice walking trails, some pretty steep. Parking limited. I have gone here several times. Also nearby is a beautiful older cemetery and some Native American burial mounds.

Took a day trip to the park and hiked up to the top of the mountain to the overview area. The hike was a little steep but well worth the time. The view was fantastic I will return to the park n the fall to see the foliage at the brightest colors. Great day trip if u live within a... More

Narrows of the Harpeth is part of the Harpeth River State Park. During warmer months, it's packed with people and difficult to find a place to park. There are three canoe/kayak outfitters in Kingston Springs and one in nearby Pegram. You can park your car at the outfitter of your choice, and they'll drop you in the river and pick... More

I don't think the trails are longer than 1/2 mile total so if you're looking for a day hike this might not be your place. But if you're looking for a quick hike to a scenic overlook and a pretty cool cave, this is for you. There is a sign that says no swimming and is universally ignored. The water... More

My wife and I are hikers, not in to canoes and kayaks. This Park gives you your choice of all three. We chose hiking but the folks who were using the canoes and kayaks where all having fun drifting down the River and stopping in at the various sand bars too. The hiking trails are not long. We started at... More
