This park is OK. Growing up it was a great place to go to spend time with family and friends. Today not so much as grass is overgrown and illegal activity that goes on makes this park unsafe.

Great place to walk, ride bikes or take your pet for a stroll. Having the river right next to the path is great. Lot of great places to eat close by including Riverfront Seafood right on the path.

A beautiful little park in a quaint and lovely town. A very nice place for a pick nick at the dock or have a nice walk along the water side.

I really like this park. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because it seems like there are some shady people that hang out there sometimes. I think the police need a better presence in that area. It is a wonderful place to...More

Food very good, unusual to have such good seafood in local restaurant. Staff good, manger had bad attitude, rude to customers, made experience very bad.

I love the park for the ducks, water etc. However, it is getting to the point that it does not feel safe.

is the walking suspension bridge that takes you over the south fork of the Holston River to Long Island. Just keep from walking at a steady pace and you'll be fine. there's an important marker on your left once you reach the island.

The park isn't very big but it's nice to put your feet in the sand. This is really just a nice place to walk and let the kids ride their bikes or scooters. The swinging bridge is a nice touch as well.
