A beautiful little park in a quaint and lovely town. A very nice place for a pick nick at the dock or have a nice walk along the water side.

I really like this park. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because it seems like there are some shady people that hang out there sometimes. I think the police need a better presence in that area. It is a wonderful place to walk by the river. There is also a small playground for kids.

Food very good, unusual to have such good seafood in local restaurant. Staff good, manger had bad attitude, rude to customers, made experience very bad.

This park is a great location on the Kingsport Birding Trail (KBT) hosting a seasonal Cliff Swallow colony nesting under Ridgefields bridge. Bird watchers conduct studies here every year. Kayak and raft rental services are available adjoining the park property. A new restaurant offers coffees, teas, and craft beers along with homemade local ice cream. Seating, playground equipment, a swinging... More

I love the park for the ducks, water etc. However, it is getting to the point that it does not feel safe.

is the walking suspension bridge that takes you over the south fork of the Holston River to Long Island. Just keep from walking at a steady pace and you'll be fine. there's an important marker on your left once you reach the island.

The park isn't very big but it's nice to put your feet in the sand. This is really just a nice place to walk and let the kids ride their bikes or scooters. The swinging bridge is a nice touch as well.

the river is always going have its natural beauty but it stops at the bank . The park itself has an abandoned look with trash littering the the bank and old park features from 1976 bicentennial that look like they mite be waiting on the tricentennial celebration for future generations to dig up and ask what was this place ....
