We were happily surprised by this wonderful place but wish we would have known these three things. 1) Its slippery. I guess I should have known with all the cool boardwalks under trees in a swamp it would make for slippery conditions but I just...More

Cypress grove nature park is a nice place to get up and close with nature. Nice Boardwalk you never know what you may see. In cages hawkes owls and Eagles. Also has a nice lake. This is something for all ages.

This free park has birds of prey that are being rehabilitated. We enjoyed walking the entire park on a very hot day. The entire park has a wooden walkway that meanders through the grove and to 2 ponds.

The boardwalks wind through the marsh and are well kept. The water was high from recent rains but was still a great place to visit

We stayed a week in Memphis and decided to take a drive out to this park. Great trails! Nice and quite! Saw lots of wildlife. Turtles, frogs, snakes, lizards, fish and lots of birds!

Beautiful January day sunny but crisp, had a great time let the 3 year old run and he really enjoyed the raptor center. Walked all the way back to the lake and enjoyed being outdoors.

One good thing about this place is its' location. You don't have to drive far to see nature. There aren't a lot of animals to see besides the birds.

In my opinion yes--the paths are a sandy dirt base encountering a small rock here and there. There are a very few wooden plank crossings but mostly smooth. I did notice at least two groups with strollers and did not seem to... More
