If a customer enters the room, they should be made to feel welcome. My family was agressively told that masks were not mandatory before even saying hello. Other unmasked customers were given chocolate during the their tasting experience but none to my family. I will never go back or recommend. Vey unfriendly atmosphere.

I am very sorry you did not enjoy your experience. Chocolate is usually offered to customers tasting a specific wine. We want everyone to feel welcome and try to tell everyone hello and that masks are not mandatory in this county.

Lovely local spot! Even during the Covid 19 dilemma it was a fun afternoon! Did a wine flight & shared a bottle of the Patriot Red blend on the wooded patio ; had to purchase wine/cheese , but you can bring a picnic basket . Hopefully the live music & food trucks will resume ASAP . Highly recommend! Staff was super friendly & accommodating! We will certainly be back !

We've been to Amber Falls many times in the last 2 years. The winery is in a remote location on Ridgetop Road. As you arrive you drive through their well maintained vineyard. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. The wine tasting bar is in the wine cellar, great classic location. They have a wide variety of wines to suit everyone's taste. Most of the year they have music on Friday, Saturday and Sundays under the gazebo and grounds around the winery. They also have annual festivals that are very popular. If I was going to visit a winery, this is the one I would select.

Let the good times roll, as they say on the Bayou! This is TN, but good people from all over make this Cajunfest at Amber Falls Winery a wonderful time of fellowship for all! Annually, Amber Falls hosts this charitable event that includes food, music and beverage for all ages and all folks that love to celebrate!
Kicking things off was a band from Louisiana that now live in Nashville...that raised the roof with their Cajun sounds! The dance floor was hopping and toes tapping the whole day. Excellent soundtrack!
There are various tickets one can purchase, depending on 'how much' you want to eat!
We were in for the entire cajun feast, which included...fried Gator (yes, it tastes like chicken, but possibly a bit more tender!), boudin, jambalaya, and a crawfish boil that will astound you!
The crawfish was spectacular...4 pounds of the little red fellows! OK, this was my first experience with THAT MUCH before me, however you dig in! Really just pull the tail from the head & you have a little taste of crawfish or mud bug! Seasoned with a fiery cajun seafood boil, these crawfish will keep you working. Be prepared to feel the heat, but each bite is delightful! Wow!
Beyond the food, is the beautiful grounds of Amber Falls winery. Entering the main drive past the grapevines is visually alluring, just so pretty! For those of age, one may have a wine tasting in the cellar. Amber Falls does have a very nice selection of reds, whites and blends...a knowledgeable staff can answer you inquiry!

Practically concealed amidst the rolling hills of Hampshire, Tennessee, Amber Falls Winery & Cellars offers tastings and hosts special events. For $5 visitors can sample 6 wines ranging from sweet to dry. After sampling the dry reds and a local smoked cheddar cheese, we ranked our favorites and took home a bottle of The President’s Choice Syrah. On the last Sunday of each month, the winery also hosts a Gumbo dinner to enjoy alongside their award-winning wines.

We traveled the countryside of middle TN, Hampshire TN to be exact to find the gem! Beautiful landscape, serene, staff was great, very informative, plenty of parking, music in the vines on Saturdays an d Sundays and GREAT tasting wine.....what more could you ask for? We were able to take our small dog (on a leash) and enjoy an awesome Sunday afternoon. We will definitely go back soon and enjoy one of their many events.

I go to the Cajun Fest every year--well, because I can't always afford a trip home. This place is in the middle of a very pretty nowhere, and I get lost every time I leave because, while there are signs to get you there, going back you are on your own with no GPS (except, I hear, Verizon).

I am not an alcohol fan, and their wines are not great for cooking, but everyone seems to enjoy them and takes home cases. The bottles are lovely.

The music and setting are not what you would expect in outer southwest nowhere Middle Tennessee: always world class and authentic--no auto-tune, little amplification beyond mics.

The people are a mixed-race/socio-economic/age group and very genial (don't let the Trump signs on the highway on the way scare you away) and there are some skilled and generous dancers.

The food in past years has been bland to horrible (Some cooking demonstration with Velveeta and canned cream of mushroom soup the first year actually had me swishing and spitting wine to get the scum of it off of my teeth!) This year both the food for sale and the food demonstrations were outstanding. Even the 'gator was done right and not greasy. The beignets still taste like burnt funnel cakes, but they are getting there.

The crawfish races, narrated by the host are a hoot! With little to no phone reception it is a great place to take people and actually have them interact.

Overall, it is a fun, painless way to contribute to a worthy charity: the Boys' and Girls' Club and feed my nostalgie for home.

Last week a friend and I met off of I-65 South and our first destination on our day trip was Amber Falls Winery & Cellars in Hampshire, Tennessee. We thought Hampshire was just a short distance off of the interstate - that was a totally wrong assumption. We decided, however, that the "let's keep going" attitude was actually going to get us to Amber Falls. The drive was very beautiful and the town of Hampshire was quite charming. And, as luck would have it, we took a wrong turn and saw some ridges that we didn't know existed in the Southern Middle Tennessee area. We finally decided to call the winery so we would not take any more incorrect turns. They gave us directions and we were not too far off course. Signage was very good up until coming to the triangle in the road - should have turned left instead of right. From there forward, it was smooth sailing.

Upon turning into the winery grounds, it was absolutely amazing to see the number of vines planted - literally all kinds of varieties. The entire facility was outstanding and state of the art. The selection of wines was extensive and the tasting area was outstanding. Also, the gift shop was one of the best - very unique items and some featuring area artisans..

Since our visit was so close to Christmas, they had their annual "Snow Village" display for public viewing. The work that went into the setup and display of this seasonal showcase was unbelievable. And because of the work that is required to have a display like this, they keep it open through January.

They also have another outstanding event on the Saturday before Memorial Day - Cajunfest. The festival showcases live Cajun music, authentic Cajun food, crawfish races and other events. The festival pulls out all of the stops for authenticity since the owners are originally from Louisiana - so they know authenticity.

On site, they have a guest cottage that is available for rental. Also, they host special events and groups with certain areas being available for rental for reunions, weddings, etc..

This is one of the most outstanding wineries that I have ever visited in the South. If you are a traveler who enjoys going to wineries and getting out on the backroads and exploring, you will absolutely love this place. Enjoy the journey - enjoy the wine - it will be a very memorable experience!
