I thought this hike was somewhat challenging but not overwhelming. We took the hike to the left, which goes to the bottom of the falls. Wear water shoes, Don't wear flip flops, saw a lot of discarded and broken ones along the way. You could...More

Since changing into a state park the hike is quite hard. DO NOT I repeat DO NOTgo if there has been rain or could be rain in the next few hours as it is a horrible experience.

This TN State park is a marvelous example of natures beauty! It offers hiking trails, amazing water falls and a rustic environment for the moderate to serious hiker. There are no camping sites at this park so one needs to make arrangements elsewhere. I would...More

This was our second trip to the falls the previous trip was in August of last year. While somewhat off the beaten path the trip was well worth it. The view from the very small overlook was exceptional. This is a relatively new state park...More

Don't plan to hike unless you are prepared to get wet. It is beautiful just from the overlooks and there are signs up that the community is voting on making more overlooks.

Did an early morning hike with a range (J.Hunt) who was great. It’s aout 2 miles and there are some steeper areas to the falls but it was well worth it. Great pics and beautiful waterfall and scenery. Will definitely do it again. Go prepared...More

I would not advise you to go. The hike to get to river is steep and then the hike up river to falls isn’t really defined. You go over boulders and in and out of the river. I think the TN State Park page lists the hike as... More
