This is such a nice park! My fiancée and I came here back in September for a hike and it was definitely worth the stop. There's plenty of parking and the paths are easily marked. The hike is really nice and very scenic. We didn't get a chance to explore the falls themselves since we didn't have proper footwear and... More

Great place to hike and see some great scenery and water falls. I want to go back when it is warmer to take a swim at the base of the falls.

Yes I understand it takes some effort to get to the bottom of the falls. However it's worth it in many ways. This park let's you get back to nature and gives one time to relax. Be prepared to get a little wet.

Be prepared to walk up river if you wish to wade. This is not a quick venture. You can see the falls very well from the upper overlook.

Come to visit Cookeville, you will be within less than an hour travel to Cummins Falls, Burgess Falls, Virgin Falls, Fall Creek Falls, less than thirty minutes you can be at Center Hill Lake! A little more than an hour there is Dale Hollow Lake, Pickett State Park, Big Southfork National Park!!!! You will not regret it!

The hike is strenuous and I would advise children under 5 not to attempt this adventure. You will get wet on the downstream hike. Bring water shoes. A hiking stick makes a huge difference to balance yourself as you hop rocks to get to the falls. It was definitely work the effort.

Waterfall is really pretty! It's about 0.5 mile walk to the overlook, but the overlook is really small. Only a few people can stand there at a time where you can see it. There is a 1 mike hike to the bottom of the falls, which we didn't do only because we've been hiking all weekend and this was on... More

Great place for kids through the week, usually crowded on weekends so be extra careful with little ones. This is a chunk of Tennessee Heaven.
