We took the short 1/2 mile hike to the overlook. This was enough for this old gal, but worth it! Wear shoes that are good on rough terrain. There are a few inclines along the way.

One of the most beautiful parks in Tennessee, it was a little crowded and the hike is long so be fit and prepared for the hike.

Gorgeous Falls, well maintained trails and facilities, close to town. This is one of the oldest State Parks in the county (we have several, now) and it has a well deserved fine reputation.

Did not go all the way down to the falls, but did walk down to where you could see it very good. It is well worth the trip and walk.

The average person can get to the falls in 45-60 minutes but it will take longer to get back traveling up hill.
