Enjoyed watching the little ones cooling off from the spouting animal fountains. They spurted intermittently and made for occasionally surprising but delightful splashes. The carousel was beautiful but the ride short for me! Walked across the Walnut Street Bridge on a hot day and enjoyed...More

Stopped by on our way for ice cream and spent more time than we thought splashing in the fountain and running in the grass. Would have been nice to bring the dog, even if he could only stay on the sidewalk but one of the...More

This is unlike any splash pad I've seen. The kids loved it. I had a nice little spot to sit. And the carousel is nearby, which is great too!

Coolidge Park is right on the river and is absolutely beautiful. With the antique carousel the water/fountain play area, and several nearby restaurants, it is a great way to relax and finish off a busy day of touring Chattanooga.

My 6 year old son had a blast playing in the fountains. The views were amazing. Be mindful of parking. They are really strict

We live in the country but was surprised at how clean and calm the park is. The fountains for the kids to play was really different and the gkids 2 and 11 had a great time. Picnics and soft football games going on. Lose to...More

This is a beautiful park that hosts lots of events. It overlooks the TN river and connects to the art district via the Walnut Street Bridge. There are plenty of restaurants and quirky shops nearby.

Love Coolidge Park! Chattanooga has done such a nice job with public green space. A quick walk across the pedestrian Walnut Street Bridge, Coolidge fronts the beautiful Tennessee River and is perfect for a blanket and picnic or an evening stroll by the water.

Coolidge Park is free! There is a really great merry-go-round that costs $1 per person, but the rest of the park is free. There are some great shops and places to eat close to the park, too.
