I saw the positive reviews for this park and thought it might be of interest. Be aware that there is pay parking here and plenty of parking places. The park is well maintained. I wanted to see the carousel and found it in a building...More

Coolidge Park is located between the Tennessee River and the Northshore. It is a good-sized park with great view of downtown Chattanooga and the Tennessee River. There were a lot of kids and families in the park enjoying the carousel and the splash pad. We...More

Plenty of room to spread out a blanket to take in the summer breeze and sunshine. A pleasant sidewalk outlines the shape of the park for a gentle stroll. Bring some water and enjoy!

Wandered into this park after exploring the small boutique shops in Northshore. Mostly just had to use the bathroom, which they had plenty of, and they were well kept! Lots of small children were enjoying themselves on a carousel within the park, and others were...More

Wife and I spent a nice afternoon strolling around the park, it was a beautiful overcast and slightly rainy day and we rode the merry-go-round. It is a beautiful little city and this park is well maintained and a great spot to have a picnic,...More

We came for the holiday weekend and loved visiting this park. Be advised that this is a crazy, busy park but with good reason. It's beautiful and there is a lot to do, especially for the little ones. We'll definitely come back!

Coolidge Park is wonderfully maintained. We visited on a busy Saturday after walking across the Walnut Street pedestrian bridge. The kids loved the antique carousel ($1/ride) and our youngest had a blast playing in the fountain/splash pad (free). There were restrooms nearby and many park...More

What a great place for our kids to experience Chattanooga river front. The carousel is a must do. It is right next to a splash park which was unfortunately down for maintenance but we still had a good time.

Park is nice and big. Carousel had nothing special about it. Splash pad was not going not sure why but with 90 plus heat it would have been nice. With just those two items and only one working it's just a big patch of grass....More

Coolidge Park is free! There is a really great merry-go-round that costs $1 per person, but the rest of the park is free. There are some great shops and places to eat close to the park, too.
