I don't enjoy art museums, but there is still lots to enjoy in this area. It is an enjoyable walking area, with nice views and interesting shops & restaurants. I attended a wedding there that was very nice.

There is a sculpture garden, a variety of diverse restaurants, the Hunter Art Museum, the Houston Museum of Decorative Arts, the "must browse" River Gallery (an art gallery deceptively big with 10 rooms), grandiose views of the river and Rembrandt's Coffee House when you get...More

Kind of exotic "European" climate (just streets are wider and buildings younger) a few minutes walk from the city center. A must see - quiet place with nice pieces of architecture. Good alternative to more noisy Aquarium area.

This has something for everyone: hotel rooms, bakery, restaurants and beauty. It is great to visit for the sculpture garden overlooking the Tennessee River and is in easy walking distance of other attractions nearby: Hunter Museum, Tennessee Aquarium, Walnut Street Walking Bridge, and downtown Chattanooga.

We loved the River Gallery but it is the only gallery in the Bluff Arts District....that being said they have an incredible Italian place "Tony's" great coffee shop with pastries lunch and chocolates and three lovely B&B's

We stopped for breakfast, thought it was just coffee and muffins. Left and walked around to see if there was any other breakfast. We decided to go back and glad we did! They have a small breakfast menu with eggs, etc., but was really good!...More

It was a really cold day, but we still really enjoyed walking around the area. There are places to eat, get coffee, art displays. We didn't go inside the art museum, stayed outdoors. Walking bridges led to river area and Aquarium. Plan on returning on...More

Tony's is an up and down restaurant. Years ago it was actually a high quality restaurant but as the years have gone by it has lost its way and you may or may not get a good plate of food. Unfortunately this applies to all... More
