This is a must to visit when in Chatanooga. Not only is it a hotel but there is also plenty to see with quite a few train carriages which are also the hotel rooms, beautiful gardens and quite a few shops that are in carriages and also out buildings, plenty of parking space provided.

When I was there before they had little shops all along but all of them has been boarded up...was almost like a ghost town compared to what it use to be

We went to Chattanooga for a last minute getaway and I had heard of this hotel. We have two small dogs so when I read it was also pet friendly- we booked there. The place is super cool. It isn't modern, up to date... but the rooms were good. We didn't spend hardly any time in the room so that... More

This is actually a complex, containing a lot of things. We went for Songbirds Guitar Museum. The grounds are nice, and lots of shops bars and restaurants.

I really wanted to see this site because I remember the song from from some old Glenn Miller movie. I guess it is part of American music history. It's a nice little area to walk around on a sunny day but nothing special.

I highly recommend a stay at the Chattanooga Choo Choo! Stay in a train car for a very unique experience. We got a package that included tickets to the Incline Railroad, Ruby Falls and Rock City! Tons of local eateries in the area within walking distance or by car. Chattanooga is such a beautiful city with so much to offer!... More

Not really a tourist place except for the train engine and station architecture. There are several restaurants in the station. You can stay overnight in a pullman car if you want.

Our group stayed here for a few days. We did not opt to pay an up charge for the actual rail car rooms. We stayed in the " hotel rooms" part, which were basic rooms on the little dated side. The rail cars were cute and fun but more expensive and smaller, so we chose the regular rooms. On site... More

We stayed in the hotel for one night, we were in the McArthur Building. The employees are so nice & accommodating. The coffee shop in the hotel is really nice too.
