Husband and I bought season passes because we liked this place so much. Special exhibits pop up throughout the year. You've got two buildings to go through (the salt water is MASSIVE and will take most of your time). The fresh water building includes a floor with birds and butterflies. Take the kiddos, go on a friend outing, or take... More

I took a group of college aged students to the aquarium recently. My husband and I had not been since the second building was built. We loved the original so much, and couldn't imagine how the new building would make our experience better. It was amazing! We spent 3 and a half hours enjoying ourselves. Due to a problem at... My wife and I visited here on the way to visit her grandparents. It's a really great aquarium, well maintained and an interesting variety of wildlife. I like that it starts at the top and you slowly spiral downward and also are granted views of the Tennessee river and Chattanooga. We went on a Friday mid-day so it wasn't too... More

My wife and I go every year to visit the Tennessee Aquarium in Downtown Chattanooga. We love the ease of parking, the variety of restaurants nearby, and of course the wildlife and fish you see at the Aquarium! Every year they have exciting new exhibits and fascinating information about some of the creatures we share this planet with. The Aquarium... More

This was an excellent visit. If in the area it is a must see. It is divided into two building, ocean and fresh water. So organized, complete, ramps, facilities, all seemed to just be there to welcome visitors. All types of water animals, fish, turtles, snakes, allegators, stingrays, otters...Whatever you would expect. Love, love, love the seahorses. All types of... More

This is a great family friendly visiting venue! It is interesting, educational and even fun for all ages. It's a big place with lots to see so a great place to visit anytime but really nice on a rainy or cool day since it's all in doors!
