Creative Discovery Museum is a hands-on children's museum in the heart of downtown Chattanooga that inspires all children to explore, innovate, create, and play. Our exhibits are designed to both entertain and educate as children discover the world around them and all it has to offer including art, music, dinosaur digging, water exploration, and science. Rated the #7 children's museum in the U.S. by Trekaroo in 2015.

This place is amazing! I wish we had one exactly like it where I live. We spent the entire day there with our (almost) 5 year old, from open to close (10am-5pm) with a break in the middle for lunch and a little rest. He was fascinated with so many exhibits, spending an hour plus in a single one. And... More

We have a Family Membership to the Creative Discovery Museum and all three of the kids enjoy different components of the museum, even the grandparents! We recently attended a Family Fun Night and we thought it was wonderful how the museum allows all families to participate in the activities throughout the evening. It was free, the kids loved it, and... More

My 18 month old twins thoroughly enjoyed this museum. They loved all the exhibits, especially the water toy area, the arts and crafts area with play dough and stamps, the slides that were part of the kings/queens exhibit, and the little yellow house with the toy car, the play kitchen and garden, and the tree house. I would say they... More

Our 3 year old had a great time here. Tons of things to get into. We spent hours here and wore her out good! The area I was most impressed with was the music area. I can't say that I've seen a music area in a children's museum before with so many different things.

Great place for kids and parents. Fun exhibits, great indoor playground. The Kings, Queens and Castles exhibit was very well done. Looking forward to coming back.

What a great place for kids to play and be creative! My wife and I have 5 small children (1 - 7), and they were safe and all had plenty of fun creative things to do. From music to crafts to playing with a dam diverting water, all five had a blast.

Visited during RV trip passing through Chattanooga on way to Atlanta from Indiana. Easy parking for RV across from paddle boat and short walk. Kids were ages 5 and 8 but our 15 year old had to tag along too. All had a blast. Spent about 4 hours there. No complaints on price or facilities.
