Really enjoyed the sites, and the lighting really accentuated the natural beauty. Doug was our guide, and he was a little quirky, but my nephew and I enjoyed his cantor. Definitely worth going early (got there about 8:40 AM) !!! Significantly busier when we got...More

Lots of walking with very few steps. Elevator takes you 260ft. below the surface. It's a guided tour!!! You will be passing other groups that are in tight quarters. The falls are amazing!!!

As someone who is pretty claustrophobic and doesn't like being underground I have to say I do love Ruby Falls. It's a great sight to see and you get a lot of exercise walking to the falls. Great trip

This is a must see attraction. The guide we had was a 23 yr veteran of taking people through the cave and the beauty is spectacular. They use lighting to highlight the beauty and at the end is a huge waterfall inside the cave. It...More

See this and Rock City in the same day and you won't be disappointed. This is an organized attraction - you go in, buy your ticket (or buy a combo ticket), then go down an elevator with a group of people into the caves to...More

If you are in the Chattanooga area, Ruby Falls is a must see. It is a well organized and informative tour that takes you to the fall beneath Lookout Mountain. I would suggest that you go early as the lines get longer the later it...More

We loved it! There is quite a bit of walking, but the cave and Ruby Falls are worth it. The natural cave formations are amazing, and the history behind the Falls is interesting. We'll be back.

Is it safe to walk down there or any other advice would be highly appreciated. Thank you

I think she will be fine. You are not overly exerting yourself. There are plenty of opportunities to sit and relax if she get tired but you guys will love the experience.

Is it a must to print the tickets for Ruby Fall or a copy of ticket can be scanned from Mobile?

I didn't see anyone scan their mobile. Everyone had a paper ticket. I don't know if they can or can't scan mobile, but I never saw anyone try.

Can you do Ruby Falls, Rock City and the Incline Railway all in one day and if so, in what order would make the most sense? How much time should we allow for each activity?

Maybe to late but Really by Falls, Rock City, incline railway and while you are there walk down to the Battles of Chattanooga. We did it all in a day. Just wear good shoes and breathable clothe and pack some water.
