We decided to stop at the Henry Horton SP on our way from the Chicago area to Pensacola, Florida. We didn't have a reservation. We were towing a car and preferred a pull-through site so that we didn't have to un-hook. We arrived at about...More

We stayed in a cabin for three days. It was supremely dreary and poorly maintained. The bathroom door was off the hinges. Lamps were missing light bulbs, insufficient toilet paper. The hiking trails were In good shape, spotlessly clean. Cabin maintenance is obviously the lowest...More

My daughter and I spent three nights here as a 'reading retreat'. We stayed in a cabin. They are basic, but ours was clean and had everything we needed (except for a dishwasher!). We walked on some trails, and enjoyed finding out more about Henry...More

We spent a weekend in a cabin in the state park. The cabin was a good size but pretty worn down (at least three blinds were broken). The tub had molding that dated from the 60s. But the floor were new and there was a...More

We choose Henry Horton because it was close to Columbia Tennessee. The park is beautiful. We stayed at the Inn located on the State Park. It is a very tired building with old furniture, mold in the bathrooms and throughout the building. Breakfast is basic...More

Long wait. Buffet that isn't that great. Food quality average or less. Even the dessert wasn't very tasty.

We camped at HH in a big rig 5th wheel for about 2 weeks. Quite a challenge without sewer hookups but it can be done. There is water and electricity at all the sites and 2 shower/bath houses. There is PLENTY of shade and most...More

We were disappointed in the quality of the campsites, and we very surprised at the lack of cleanliness in the bathhouses. Floors in the bathhouses were muddy, trash cans were full, and shower curtains were covered with mildew. The trees are very nice, but there's...More

When you go to the website to make a reservation, it will show you a photo of the site & gives a good description, including how level it is. We stayed in a handicap accessible site, #53, across from the bath house.
