When I heard that there was going 2 B a Christmas lights display I could not pass this up. When i first arrived I actually went 2 the ice skate rink but was directed 2 the proper entrance. U actually drive through entire display and what so fun about it U actually drive on the actual race track. These companies... More

We went to see the speedway in lights display. It was really well done. The displays had been put together/maintained very well. The themes were cute. We loved the Ripleys portion of the route. It took about an hour to go through the lights. The only drawback was that some people didn't turn the headlights off as they drove through.... More

Our family never misses this event at Christmas. We love to drive around and see all the beautiful lights, and we make sure to stop in the Christmas village and get some cider or hot cocoa and get a bite to eat. If you go during the height of the holiday season, be prepared for a long wait. But, if... More

Very nice drive through display of Christmas lights at a reasonable price - $12 during the week, a few dollars more on weekend. The tour goes down the drag strip then circles around the parking lot into the race track, where there is a Christmas Village set up with numerous kiddy rides, vendors, and even marshmallows. Outside, there is a... More

This was our second time going to the Speedway in Lights and I think it is the best light display around! $15 for a car on the weekend & it goes to a charity. So many lights everywhere. My favorite was going under the sea with Ripley's! We went on a Friday night, the week before Christmas. Got there about... More

Bristol is impressive. Signs hang outside and inside that say "The last great coliseum". That is true. This is an unbelievable structure to see. Go right now and see the Christmas lights. $12 per carload during week, $15 on weekend. Lights and scenes are fun and great. You get to actually drive on the Bristol drag strip, through the skeleton... More

On Black Friday11/2516, we were visiting family in Abingdon,Va. They suggested to go to the Speedway for the holiday lights. It was 8:40pm and it was crowded. Once you got in line, there was only one emergency exit to the left for 4 lanes of bumper to bumper cars to exit. So you had to see it through. Initially the... More

There was no race going on when we visited here, but we took the guided tour. It convenes at the large gift shop (which has every kind of NASCAR memorabilia and logowear you can think of), and takes you all around the grounds in a window van. The driver describes everything you go by, including the drag strip, which you... More
