This is a beautifully kept grand older home, one of the first in this city. They have tours in the summer and open house during the Christmas season. It takes at least an hour to tour but you'll probably want to spend more time as there is so much to see & learn.

This place is a fascinating time capsule. It is seasonally decorated so always changing. The grounds are planted with period appropriate perennials and annuals. The roses smell like roses!

If you like touring historic homes, then this is a must stop. Several original pieces of furniture, clothing, etc. Our guid was very knowledgable and interesting. A great story.

We loved this house - almost everything is original - woodwork, furniture, display pieces on shelves and mantels - some of the wallpaper is reproduction. The tour guide, who also lives there, was an incredible fount of information. Since we were the only ones for the two hours we were there, we got to spend a lot of time learning about the place. Highly recommend.
