We got to take a long tour so many old artifacts and learn more about Watertown! It has local history the beginning of the town and throughout the years

I love museums and this one had so many great photos and info about South Dakota. There's a video area that you can learn some fun info. GREAT way to spend a couple free hours!

The programs for kids in the afternoons are great hands on history activities that kids love. Activities are offered on weekdays and very informative and kids get to try activities such as treasure hunts, and typing on a "real" typewriter.

Kristy, the director, was awesome - very helpful. We were there to do some genealogy stuff and she had everything well organized in advance, and called a couple of long-time residents to meet with us. There is also lots of cool stuff to see in this beautiful old Carnegie Library.

They are really bringing out some neat displays on different subjects depicting this area. Worth a trip to see the changes!
