If you love nature and waterfalls, this is well worth the drive. There are some small hotels / B-n-B nearby if you want to spend the night. The drive from Urgup (Cappadocia) is 170 km and the roads are good with only minor bad spots, but easy to drive. The scenery is wonderful , so charge your camera before you... More

Gorgeous waterfalls I saw 5 of them, highly recommended. Make sure you do a picnic in the area. Apparently there were few other waterfalls in the area. I saw plenty of goats on the mountains. Lovely place with lovely people.

I've read that this the world's second highest waterfall. actually there are seven waterfalls but somehow we could only see five of them. one of them is particularly impressive. At first, we were a bit disappointed because when we read it was the world's second highest waterfall, we expected it to be -well- a bit more higher. But as you... More

I drive from Urgup to kapuzbasi waterfall by car and it is possible to make it there and back and have lots of time for picnic and enjoy the waterfall. Driving to the waterfalls from goreme or urgup takes approx 3 hours one way ( including some stops for photos along the way). Road conditions is good all the way... More

Incredible place!! Waterfalls are awesome but the way you take is like fairytale! Mountains are full of minerals (mostly crom) and coz of that all of them colourfull. Also you re following a river in between. So yoy find all colours of the nature and at the end you meet with perfection..

When I arrived there, I was charmed at the gorgeous scenery. Besides, I realized that there is a paradise also on earth. I have forgotten all my problems and I have felt as if I was reborn. The sound of the waterfall took me away. The taste of the water has not existed in the world. Mountains and trees covering... More

First, Kapuzbasi waterfalls are not located any near Cappadocia or Nevsehir. It's located in the province of Kayseri and it is connected to the Yahyali village. The waterfalls got their name from the small Kapuzbasi village. From Kayseri it's 146 km to the waterfalls. The road to the National park of Aladaglar where the waterfalls are located is not the... fantastic location. Deep in the junction of several steep valleys, the water comes shooting out of the rocks in a real fantastic display. It's a long trip and worthwhile to stick around in one of the pensions for the night or 2. You can swim, climb, bike or just hang around in the unusual falls area.
