Beautiful grounds. Cool to see all the fish. Pond also full of ducks. $2 bag of fish food lasted a good long time and feeding the fish was one of the highlights of the trip for my teenager. There are also other interesting things to...More

We loved feeding the fish and touring the hatchery. You get a bag of fish food for a $1 or $2. Having the fish go crazy for the food, even jumping out of the water was fun. Be sure to tour the buildings- the history...More

I have three boys 9-13. They enjoyed looking and feeding the fish. The area is well kept and nice to walk around. This place is not going to "wow" them like some other attractions but it was well worth stopping for and it was free

This was the husbands pick, and to be honest I wasn't expecting much. But the kids really enjoyed it and if nothing else they had a blast feeding the fish.

This was one the original US Fish and Wildlife fish hatcheries. Today they only raise fingerlings to release size. The experience is fun. Ponds hold fish of various sizes. An underwater viewing spot lets you see the fish on their own level. Exhibits show all...More

The hatchery is a lot of fun. There are a lot of fish to see, as you would expect. The museum is pretty interesting as well. It's a fun way to spend an hour.

I agree with one to two hours, depending on interest level. If you feed the fish, pop inside a couple of buildings, read posted signs, and walk an outer nature trail or two, you could do it in an hour with a couple teens, or... More
