It was a very blustery cold day in mid-October so we didn’t get to experience the whole museum and grounds. The museum itself was very interesting - the spur collection might have been my favorite.

Interesting little museum. The displays were not unique, but they were displayed nicely. The best thing going for them is the staff and volunteers. All were very pleasant and accomodating!

There is a lot more to see than we were expecting. The museum covers a number of topics including rodeo and ranching. Great views and free coffee, well worth a look.

I’m not sure about October, but I know they are having a Christmas program. Not at the museum though. I think it is at a hotel in Spearfish. Check their website for further info.
