The trail is a very nice one. It is easy and the views are beautiful. The day was sunny.I think they are building a large visitor center. A beautiful place to walk.

For many this has been a well kept secret area that is a nature lovers area as well as a historical landmark. There are plans in the works that will make this are more known so you might want to visit sooner than later as more people will start finding this gem.

The breathe taking views were just many. Sioux Falls has the most beautiful nature areas. When we go back, and we will, we will come here again and just stand in the beauty the good Lord God created!

I've hiked here a half dozen times and each time I'm glad I did. There's plenty of paths to take, and some of them offer incredible overviews of fields of trees, which in the early fall is absolutely calming and peaceful to look at. I've had to stop and take it in more than once. Plenty of uphill walking, so... More

You can just feel why the people lived, hunted an fished here in this beautiful setting. My daughter's family lives on the high ground just south of here and I have traversed there now 4 times in less than a year.

When the weather was warmer went here for walks, enjoyed the natural beauty of the area. The park was not very far out of Sioux Falls, the walk areas are marked well.

This place is a gem! It's one of South Dakota's newest state parks now called Good Earth. It is fairly easy to find and is very close to Sioux Falls. There are well maintained hiking paths and trails that run through the beautiful wooded areas and along the Big Sioux River. This place a rich history and dating back hundreds... More

I have hiked all the trails at this park. To be able to hike in a state park 15 minutes from Sioux Falls is wonderful. Currently the state park permit is not required as the park is still pretty primitive (no visitor center, primitive restroom).

This is South Dakota's newest state park. It has few facilities until they get the visitor center open. The park is close to Sioux Falls and is along the banks of the Big Sioux River. Nice and quiet for a short stroll or a longer 2 mile hike. Eagles can be seen at times.
