Awesome tour of the Badlands! Grady was knowledgeable, hospitable, and considerate your guide. Fair priced! I highly recommend the Badlands half day tour if you’ve got a few hours. You won’t be disappointed.

My husband and I planned a trip to see National Parks in the NW and found Grady with Sodak Wild online. We used him for our tour of the Badlands. Absolute best decision we made! Grady was so personable, relating to us immediately, was helpful, and was also quite knowledgeable about the area. He provided lunch for us and took us to see fabulous scenic places. My husband and I highly recommend Grady.

My friends and I were in the area on another tour that did not include the Badlands. We had a little extra time and really wanted to see them. I asked at the hotel desk and was given Grady’s pamphlet. I made the call and he responded and gave us the BEST trip through the Badlands. He was very friendly and professional. He provided us with water and snacks. All of us were completely satisfied with this experience. I would highly recommend Grady for any tour.

Enriching and memorable tour offering insight into the formation of the Black Hills and how the geological transformations took place. Grady conveniently picked us up from our hotel and we headed to Iron Mountain Road. Grady is knowledgeable, personable, and shares great stories about the area. It was fascinating to hear of the background of how the monuments were sculpted. Going through Custer State Park was very scenic we saw Bison, baby bison, pronghorns, mountain sheep, prairie dogs, and wild burros. The tour was about 4 hours and we covered Iron Mtn Rd, Custer, Lake Sylvan, and Needles Highway. Grady knows a great deal about the tunnels and the piggyback bridges. Also, the visitor center in Custer is very worthwhile with the graphics and timelines, plus interactive displays that children will especially enjoy.

Definitely recommend a tour so you can enjoy taking in all the sites.
