The gift shop has a large selection of rock goods at a reasonable cost The museum is pretty cool but not really worth the price of admission

Wow! Quite a find. There are many specimens for viewing. The Black Hills Institute were the discovered of Sue, the magnificent T-Rex. Don't miss it if you are in the area and have any interest in paleontology.

This is a good museum for children and adults. Several Dinosaurs and rocks to gander at. The admission is good for all year. They also have a gift shop.

Easy to get to in the downtown area. Just walk up down town and walk in for a amazing collection. From full size fossil skeletons to rock specimens, they have it. Don't forget to look for Stan!!

Not by way of the front entrance, since there is a flight of stairs to go up. Call and ask if there a handicapped entrance. And yes, there's a narrow walkway once in the museum but it would be ok for wheelchair.

I think it was $7 a person to get in to the museum part. The gift shop, where you actually enter the building, is free.
