Very pretty landscape. Defiantly made you stop and think about the past. Devil's falls was our favorite! Only reason I'm not rating higher is there were no free hiking maps as advertised and the porta potty was overflowing and nasty.

My husband and I stood on the bridge and tried to decide if a horse could actually jump the gulch and if so...when attempting to land on such a rocky crest...would it have been possible? haha It's a pretty area regardless of whether Jesse James...More

We went in the fall. The colors are simply beautiful and sound of the falls just rumble. The gulch is very interesting in its story. An impossible feat for sure but one will never know if he actually did it.

All the people I have brought to Devil's Gulch, have always made the same comment, "Did he really make the jump?" My answer is, "Does it really matter?" The place is unique, free to visit and allows you to use your imagination

Host at Palisades park told us about this park and was worth short trip to see spot where Jesse James supposedly jumped across with his horse. Short walk but very pretty and host was informative and friendly. Would visit again

For a crappy looking little park, this turned out to be a pretty interesting place. Take some time and follow trails around the falls and stream.

Was beautiful but the woods have grown over the paths and could have put better markers to follow. We couldn't reach the last two markers it was for the younger climber's.

Pretty cool, driving up I did not think much of this spot. Once out of the car though there were great views and cool trails down into the gulch. Make sure to see devil falls as well

We stopped here since we left Palisadess State Park on the way to Pipestone. Not much to see. The park is nice to drive through but after visiting Palisades this was kind of disapointing and we only stayed about 10 minutes.
