We went to the Deadwood Gulch to do some gambling after dinner and the bar was closed at midnight on a Saturday night! Why should I spend my money gambling there when I can't even get a beer at midnight on a weekend. There's plenty of other places to go. This is the second time that this has happened to... More

The only place we stay. Been here at least 3 to 4 times in winter alone. Rooms have easy access for our tired legs after being in snow fun all day. Never had any bad experiences. Clean rooms every time. New years is a blast here and offer the best serve buss rides. Great staff .

My Mother and I took a bus tour from Denver to Deadwood Gulch gaming resort. The ride was nice and easy. Not having to drive was a welcome change. The price for the trip was very reasonable, with nice coupons for food and other things. The city of Deadwood runs a trolley around town including a stop at Deadwood Gulch.... More

If you're heading south in the Black Hills to Crazy Horse or the faces or anything else, this gets you out of the riffraff of Deadwood in the morning. A couple slots to get your gambling in in this historic town.

We recently booked one night at the Deadwood Gulch and liked it so much we stayed an extra night. Ten min walk into the centre of Deadwood but regular Trams stop outside the hotel to the town costing only one dollar per trip, last tram back is midnight. Casino open 24 hours but that did not disturb our sleep. Comfortable... More

The rooms were very comfortable and very clean. We found the location extremely convenient for day trips in any direction. The staff were friendly & helpful. There was a nice restaurant which provided a free hot breakfast each morning. The only negative was the casino which we found rather small and dingy, but we really didn't stay there for the... More
