In Deadwood, my husband and I were looking for some place to eat. We headed toward Dairy Queen, then we saw "Bar and grill" so of course we didn't go to Dairy Queen. When you walk into Midnight Star, the walls are covered in Kevin...More

It's an OK place to see. More or less a tourist place. Not sure I'd go out of my way. We preferred to go down the street for lunch where it livelier.

I played a 25 cent slot machine and made enough off of it to pay for our lunch and then some. Had a great lunch at the upstairs bar. Unlike the casinos in Las Vegas, this place is small and friendly, and doesn't feel like...More

The only thing that would make this place better is if Kevin Costner himself was there when we are. Ehem we will be there on Saturday September 9th 2017!!!!

We were on a treasure hunt, an activity planned by our bicycling tour guide. One clue was to "find something Kevin Kostner" in Deadwood. The Midnight Star is the place. Posters, clothing, scenes from filming. Enough to keep one busy for at least an hour....More

It's so nice when you get fun dealers that will talk with you and share things with you. A small quaint place with a very friendly atmosphere. We all four had a great time.

I stopped in here to play while others were shopping. I was greeted by a friendly waitress and offered a drink. It had both new and old machines. It was a nice break from walking.

Our group of 4 recently had a Friday night dinner at the Midnight Star. The atmosphere is great, dark wood, great move memorabilia and a toasty warm fireplace on a chilly night. The food was really nothing to remember. Salad size was generous, soup tasted...More

The Historic Franklin Hotel was FINE DINING and exceptional service and food. Their are so many good fun places to eat, but fine dining would definitely be the Franklin :)

Never had a problem with wait staff. Ours actually took photos for us of our group at our table. Did not visit bar area. We would definitely return to the Midnight Star.
