We visited again on our 2nd trip to South Dakota. My husband and daughter took the bus ride up to the base and got a closer look. We got to see more of the museum this time and liked all the exhibits and information they...More

Many have told us that we needed to stop here. I am so glad we did. This was so informative and interesting. A film is shown with information about the making of the memorial. Multiple displays about the Native American. Kids would really enjoy this...More

Love this stunning tribute to the Lakota people! I'm sure the monument won't be finished in my lifetime, but you can't help but appreciate the Ziolkowski family's dedication to the work started so long ago. The monument though in progress is impressive and there is...More

First impression was not good...parking $38 (car load) was a bit much, but after getting inside and watching the film and viewing all the exhibits, I thought it was worth the price for 4 people.

We went to the Crazy Horse memorial right after visiting Mt. Rushmore. What a disappointment! $11.00 per person to get in (TWICE what it was at Mt. Rushmore) and the parking lot is over 1/4 mile from the monument! Oh, bus rides to the base...More

I've been here a few times before and this time I learned more about the project. The film they show is more in depth than I remember. We came on Native American Day but the 1.5 hours we were there there weren't any performances but...More

We were very excited to see Crazy Horse having just come from a morning at Mt. Rushmore. We were disappointed. Mt. Rushmore is $11 to get in to and get a great view. Crazy Horse? $28 to get in and get no closer than your...More

$11/person to get in the park. $4/person to ride the bus. We spent an hour, but you could spend a lot more time.
