Beautiful ruins of old church out in country far away from everything else. Must have been beautiful when fully constructed among a spectacular wooded area. Parking readily available across the street.

A little out of the way; but, well worth the drive. Watch for the sign or you can drive right by. Parking is across the road. We were blessed with a small wedding being performed, which added to the pleasure of this special place.

Beautiful grounds - lovely trees and outstanding ferns. The church ruins are charming, magical and grand, great place to take photos. Interesting to read the headstones and work out the time line of events, names and relations. Park lot across the road.

It is a bit out of the way, but well worth a quick visit. Don't park on the street as the signs say - cars whiz by pretty fast. There is a big parking lot, so to speak, across the street however. Your mind will...More

We loved walking around the Old Sheldon Church ruins. So much history and the ruins, even though they are ruins, brought a sense of peace. So quiet, a nice reprieve from the hustle & bustle. I'm assuming a lot of graves have headstones missing, as...More

It's very impressive. The atmosphere, the old graves, the ruines, the complete pictures is a great overview of history. It's not very big, so less than a hour will be more then enough to see everything.

There is limited parking in front but cars here "ruin" shots as they can be seen. There is an I paved hard dirt Peking lot across from it with parking for at least 15 motor cycles. I would think 30 -45 minutes would be... More
