This business is no longer there. They closed down several months ago. It was fun while it lasted! We enjoyed the original shop as it was like a treasure hunt, but the new location was not the same and didn't make it.

Did not like the attitude of Uncle Fred...signs everywhere if you break it you buy it. Caution tape around areas to keep you out. Just a lot of treasures from peoples homes when they re decorated. No real antiques or even bargains for anyone looking for furniture to refinish.

Great service, and neat stuff to look at. Not a very big place, doesn't take but an half an hour to walk all the way through it.

Uncle Fred's is a great place to scout out second-hand, antique, and just plain unique items. You will often find Uncle Fred there himself, and he is a straight-shootin' no b.s. kind of guy. Honest and willing to explain antiques to people new to the game, and knowledgeable enough to hold his own with experts.
I found three really unusual and very fairly priced items, which he conveniently allowed me to put on layaway. Thirty days interest free, and I can't wait to get them home. I love going to Fred's even when I just want to have a look at what's new. And now they offer classes to learn how to create distressed, chalk-like painted items. They look great, and if you buy an item from Fred and take the class to refinish that item, you get a 20% discount off the item.
They have tons of unusual items at fair prices. Uncle Fred's-a friendly place for which to hunt for the elusive "find" that all "pickers" are searching.

“Uncle Fred” may not be your ‘rich uncle,’ but he’ll make your visit an occasion you’ll not soon forget! I have never seen so much stuff under one roof! Uncle Fred’s has it all… old coke bottles, collectible junk, old carpenter tools, farm paraphernalia, fine antique furniture and knick-knacks… you name it! I felt like a PBS “American Picker.” The spectrum is amazing—from nearly useless junk to must-have true treasures. You’re bound to find something you didn’t even know you couldn’t live without. Count on spending a few hours reminiscing over times gone by, searching through items long forgotten, and marveling over treasures that make you wonder… “where did they find all these things!” Uncle Fred’s is irresistible! “Y’all, come back!” We certainly hope to, if we’re ever up that way again.
