Firefly Distillery is South Carolina's first and largest distillery. Firefly Distillery is home to Firefly Sweet Tea Vodka, the original sweet tea vodka, and many more southern specialties. Current product lines include vodkas, rums, bourbon, liqueurs, and moonshines. Guests are welcome Tue-Sat 11am-5pm for tastings, closed January. Feel free to bring your own lunch and have a picnic on our grounds, perhaps after enjoying a wine tasting from Irvin~House Vineyards which is located on the same property. Every Saturday the distillery hosts Sippin' Saturdays with live music and tasty local food for sale. Come taste the South and enjoy a casual laid back atmosphere!

We went on a Saturday afternoon... pretty drive to get there. Wine was pretty gross ($5 for tastings) and the gentleman pouring our tasting had us wait a while until his side of tastings was full. It was a unique experience and the only winery...More

We enjoyed the country drive to the Distillery. Beautiful vineyards as you enter and lots of shade trees. Live music, gift shop, vendors, food truck, some animals, friendly staff and tastings. Loved the tastings with a friendly guy who explained each sample and told what...More

Our first visit to Charleston, we also wanted to visit the area surrounding Charleston. This is a great place to visit. There is a winery and distillery. The people there are very pleasant and welcoming. Took home a couple bottles of wine and spirits too!...More

Love coming here for years - the vodkas can't be beat and the muscadine wines are pretty great too. The atmosphere is always so laid back and I enjoy spending an afternoon here tasting and enjoying the scenery.

Great place to sample some great wines and spirits. Deep Water Winery is there too. They make wines from muscadine grapes but they do not have that overpowering taste of muscadine that most have. Very good wines in my opinion. They also have the Firefly...More

Where in SC can I buy their alcohol? I will be driving along I 95 then switching before I hit Charleston and have a dog with me so I know I can't come to the factory/store. I've tried liquor stores off the highway before and haven't had any luck.

If you go to their website, it lists on a map where their products are sold. I tried to post the link but I am unable to. Just google firefly vodka and click the 'find the fly' tab at the top of their page. :)

Hi! We're visiting Charleston in March and would love to come visit. Is there a recommended way to get there without renting a car and driving? Thanks! Jeremy
