The fort is cool overlooking the river and the big grassy area is also a cool place to just hang out in the shade.

A great historical fort to visit for the young and the older!!! Not much of the fort is left so one gets to use their imagination. It's keeping the enemy at bay on the Ashley River. The Indians called this river the Boo-shoo-ee.
