A must ...take an hour out of your day and spend it here! Great history! My toddler got to ring a bell and enjoyed watching the train display in the caboose. Staff has excellent knowledge.

Spotted this inside the Amtrak station and went in. Great pictures of steam trains working this area and the importance they played in commerce at the time. It's small and they asked for donations -no admission fee. Enjoyed it.

A wonderful jewel for railroad buffs. I took my grandson for a visit and we were treated like first class passengers. Make sure you take the opportunity to visit this awesome museum.

This is a nice little museum tracing the train history of Spartanburg. Good for adults and children alike. Won't take maybe an hour at most, and make sure you talk to the volunteer on site for additional interesting information. The farm market has moved to a new location, it was really great when you could take in both at one... More

You're not going to make a day of it, but an interesting piece of local history. Especially convenient to check out during the farmer's market.
