We took our Travel trailer out for its maiden voyage here. The state park was clean & peaceful. The camp sites were fairly large and roomy. Overall a successful and good stay!

About every minute we saw wildlife: So many birds! I've never seen sandhill cranes before, but a flock flew over. Many ospreys, herons, egrets, blue birds, kingfishers, yellow finches, jays, cardinals. They just kept showing up. Lots of turtles, too. The place is paradise!

We came in late April and were able to secure a land cabin for one night (2 night minimum except at last minute). What a deal for $90. We enjoyed the lake view, a few easy 3/4 mile trails and watching the fishermen and women...More

We love visiting this state park and lake. Plenty of picnic tables, shelters, camping and cabins and trails to hike. They rent kayaks. Clean and friendly.

My husband and I had and enjoyable time at Santee State Park. The staff was very accommodating. We stayed in the cabins, which though dated, were fairly clean. Check-in for the cabins is at 4pm and the office closes at 5pm (non-summer hrs), so there...More

We love visiting the state park. Admission is $2 per adult, but you can purchase the Park Passport and enter any state park all year long. This park is just outside Santee, SC off of I-95. There are two campgrounds, but one is under renovation...More

We only had time for a quick drive by the lake & a few photos, but quite serene. Nice boat ramp, cabins, paddle & canoe rentals. There was as early morning chill in the air still saw some wildlife, nice campsites.

I'm traveling through on my way to Florida with mt my two dogs. I want to camp in a tent site away from a ton of RVs. Any recommendations?

It looked to me that there were plenty of non-crowded campsites in this park, but we were there somewhat out of season.
Is there an indoor pool

No, only an outside water park about 10 minutes away.
Do you have boat rentals? If so... pricing information and length? Thanks!

They have kayak rentals. Not sure about power boats. Check the SC State Parks website. There's a boat launch & an excursion trip that goes out from the park too.
