The lake was pretty low when we went so we could walk around on the rocks to our little private beach. The water is so clear and pretty! The park is immaculately maintained and the staff were all super nice. It was the perfect way to spend a warm Sunday afternoon. I didn't go all the way in because I'm... More

Spent a weekend kayaking and hanging out with friends here. Absolutely delightful place! Though there were quite a few boats, there was space for everyone. Well-maintained walking trails and miles of pretty shoreline. Would return again in a heartbeat!

We went here for the first time with a small tent and couldn't have had more fun. The water is beautiful and clear, there are beach areas, playgrounds and bathrooms close by wherever you are. Everyone was friendly and it was quiet by 10 every night. This is such a fun family place and we can't wait to take our... More

First the road to the park is very curvy and s few sharp turns and a little narrow with no hard railing be careful. Now the park. The rangers were excellent very polite and kind. Nice little gift shop and very quick check in. We stayed in villa 5. Great view of the lake. The grill is a grill like... More

We frequently go to the park to SCUBA dive. The facilities are great and we have had absolutely no trouble.

Lake Jocasse is beautiful. Camped in one of the walk in tent sites right on the lake. Good facilities for showering etc. Went kayaking. Wind picks up mid-afternoon a lot of days so you have to be mindful and careful. It can get quite windy and the swells can get water into your kayak. A great experience and one of... More

We were anxious to leave the cold Ontario winter behind for warmer climes in South Carolina. We chose this spot as it wasn't too far of a drive, and we picked a site with the view of the lake. Hydro and water included and at a good price. When we arrived, the staff was friendly and courteous. As it turned... More

If you will be in Devil's Lake State Park, SC, include the Oconee Bell's Nature Trail in your plans. This trail is about 1.5 mile in length. Parts of the trail are relatively flat while other areas have some grade. There are multiple opportunities to cross & follow small spring fed streams. If you are lucky enough to visit in... More

Decent camping spaces for overnight. Bath house is clean. Trail to the North lake is easy hike with crystal clear water and lots of critters.

We stayed in one of the villas and were very pleased with the overall facility. Clean, modern with little unexpected niceties that made us feel at home. Cable, wifi, player, wonderful screened porch with rockers (and reading lamp to boot!) Stone fireplace, plus grill and fireplace outside. Each villa has some view of the lake with some directly on the... More
