Nestled in the absolutely beautiful western SC mountains is Lake Jocassee, part of Devils Lake State Park. A long ways from nowhere, but worth the scenic drive. The Lake tours are filled with information about the history of the lake, geology, flora and fauna of...More

A nice afternoon, with our guide. He had a # of fun/interesting stories. Nice way to spend a beautiful 1/2 day, in God's Country.

We chose the sunset cruise with Tricia and it was wonderful, educational experience. Tricia's enthusiasm for the area was contagious! All 6 of us enjoyed the adventure. Terry

My wife and I visited the area as part of a weekend excursion. We were looking forward to seeing the sights but expecting the typical tour with "canned" talks and "cookie cutter" stops. We quickly discovered that Jocassee Lake Tours is unique. Kay tailored a...More

We thought on renting a boat, but nobody would rent one for people who didn't have boat driving experience... We ended up booking a 4 hour private tour with them, and it was the best decision ever. The price was very reasonable, and the best...More

I went on the 4 hour boat tour with a friend last weekend. Boat tour is a misnomer because it's so much more! Zac was out guide and was very knowledgeable about the lake, the surroundings, the homes, the bird and animal life and also...More

We had such a great time on a privately scheduled adventure tour and had a great tour guide named Dan. Dan took us to the most amazing, breathtaking places on the lake. Every stop was unique and had its own little character. We jumped off...More

Went on the sunset cruise and our tour guide, Trisha, was incredibly knowledgeable! She was patient with everyone who had comments and answered all of our questions. The lake was gorgeous as well, as always, but this sunset cruise was awesome! Thanks for a great...More

This was our family's third trip with Jocassee Lake Tours - better known as Brooks and Kay - terrific and fun people. We explored parts of the lake we hadn't seen previously, swam in waterfalls (our favorite) and just enjoyed the beauty of the lake....More
