T.I.G.E.R.S. Preservation Station is quite possibly the country's only FREE living tiger museum. Located inside Barefoot Landing in North Myrtle Beach, SC, it offers families the opportunity to see tigers up close, through glass, absolutely free of charge. For those interested in meeting a tiger or an ape in person, we offer (for a fee)the opportunity to pose with one of the animal ambassadors for a photo. The animals spend only a couple hours per day, in the late afternoon, at T.I.G.E.R.S. Preservation Station and funding generated from our photos and gift shop sales help support various wildlife conservation projects we conduct worldwide through our Rare Species Fund. We are open from mid-March to mid-October and hours of operation can be found by calling our listed telephone number.

First of all, my daughter did research and we saved for this trip for months, it cost a lot but we were okay with that because we was going to be doing something different than what we've done before. The park itself was nice, very clean, the animals were well taken care of, and the staff was great. Our complaint... More

Hello Jennifer, Thank you for your visit and your review. I have reviewed the photos and video from your visit and both you and your daughter look very happy interacting with the tiger cubs, wolf pups, elephant and other primates. As it appears, your primary disappointment was that although they played a large role in the tour, you were not... More

While many are discouraged by the price tag this experience is worth every penny. You get the oportunity to interact with a variety of animals on the tour and I just could not stop smiling the entire time I was there. They take hundreds of photos of your group and it's almost impossible to choose just one favorite. The tour... More

Pulling up to the bamboo doors of the Myrtle Beach Safari you feel as if you've left Myrtle and entered Jurassic world, with green trees and a jungle themed clubhouse it takes no time getting into the adventuristic mood! The performance is witty, well choreographed and preformed by passionate members of the preserve, each with a cool individual role in... More

What a fun experience. We got to feed a large tiger (through a hole). Amazing to see them up close. For photo ops, we held some babies (monkeys, tiger, and wolf) on our laps. It was great! Only negative was the cost. But considering what we were able to do, made it worth it. If it was cheaper, we'd do... More

We did both the Photo Opportunity/Encounter at Barefoot Landing & VIP Safari Tour. It was worth every penny. We got to hold, cuddle, and play with baby tigers, wolf pups, & monkeys. Fed an elephant. Pet a cheetah. And so much more!! The trainers were personable, entertaining, kind, and enthusiastic. I HIGHLY recommend this adventure to everyone.... it's such an... More

Come see large tigers and babies. Get your picture taken with the baby tigers or a cute baby monkey. Its so great to watch them play. They are so beautiful and amazing. I love that T.I.G.E.R.S rescues and raises these endangered animals. Have your picture taken to help feed and support these animals.

As someone who is normally hesitant about viewing animals in captivity i was blown away by the level of care and dedication staff had for their animals. The work this organisation does world wide to conserve and protect endangered species deserves all the support it can get and by visiting this attraction you ensure such hard work can continue!

This is the experience of a lifetime for everyone!! You can tell these animals are well cared for day in and day out. The relationship between the animals and the trainers is undeniably the most beautiful thing you have ever seen. You can tell that these people pour their lives into the welfare of the animals. The encounter is sure... More
