For $6.00, you get to see one of the best museums we've ever been too and you don't have to be a fire engine freak to love it. The way they have the lighting really showcases the fire engines and makes them sparkle. They also have interactive and hands-on exhibits. Kids and adults will love this museum.

All kinds of restored fire engines and equipment from the past. Kids had a blast and we all learned about fire engines, fire fighters and fire safety. At $6 a person it as a great value, and there are discounts available for other attractions too.

This was really good for kids. We have a 5 and 9 yr old and they loved it. A great display of first trucks from throughout the years. Play area for kids. Also they do a 4D show on fire safety.

Great place for fire education with people of all ages. Not to mention the pure history of the fire service. Shift was very friendly and displayed deep compassion for the service.

This is a very neat museum. My husband is a paid and volunteer firefighter so it had to be good for him to enjoy it and he loved it from the second we walked through the door. The old steam engines in the lobby he took pictures from every angle telling me about what everything did. Once entering the main... More

During our trip to Charleston we stopped in the North Charleston Visitor's Center for some information about attractions. The staff was wonderful. They had so much knowledge about the different attractions and were a great help. We were also able to get reduced price admission to some of the local attractions. The Fire trucks were also beautiful.

This is an excellent museum if you like anything fire department. There is a huge selection of fire trucks, and other related vehicles. Lots of interactive stuff for the kids too. They will have a blast climbing the equipment!

Had a great visit to the Fire Museum and the volunteers who staff it are wonderful to converse with and have a wealth of knowledge to share. There are pieces of apparatus from different eras and locations as well as many pieces of firefighting equipment used throughout the past century. While many of the displays are static there are also... More

This is a small but very nicely done museum. The restoration done on the equipment is beautiful and there are quite a few other interesting pieces as well. There are multiple educational stations and score cards that promote children to experience each exhibit. Being a veteran professional firefighter I found it quite enjoyable and informative and saw many pieces of... More
