I had seen pictures of this garden & added it my 'to-see' list. I was extremely disappointed upon arrival to the garden. Areas in the garden were overgrown and it had the neglected look to it. However, with some love/care, this garden could be great again!

I think this was probably once a very nice little place. It is clearly not high on any priority lists as to maintenance these days. Very tiny.

This delightful little Japanese garden brings a lot of character to the downtown area of Newberry.I don't know who maintains this garden....Town of Newberry? Newberry Cou to Master Gardeners? It could stand a little pruning here and there and maybe added fresh foliage, but overall a lovely little quiet spot in a busy little town.

It is a pretty little garden, a great place for photos. Over the years I have taken quite a few there.

This is a beautiful garden. I love the water features. My children always love walking the paths and the bridges over the water. Beautiful when the water lilies are in bloom.

My dad, sister, and I visited this place while we were staying in Newberry last week. We enjoyed the garden and loved taking pictures of it. If there is one highlight I saw, it would be the bamboo and the gazebo :) . Great place to stop at if you love nature :) .

Little bridges make this park fun for my 4 year old to run across. Great little in town get away. Parking is across the street behind furniture store, and well marked.

Absolutely worth your stop if you're traveling through Newberry. It's incredibly small, but you can't tell that in pictures. Great props for family photos, and my girls loved it.

Wells Garden brings a small taste of Japan to Newberry. Small area but we'll maintained. Peaceful setting and lots of different plants to see. Everything about this garden makes you want to slow down and relax.

The garden is not very large, and being December, it was pretty drab. It looked like it would be nice in the spring with a few ponds and various plantings.
