Fun and budget friendly!
Mar 2021 • Family
Another fun and budget friendly thing to do at Broadway at the Beach! We got a all day bracelet. It was worth the price. Went on all the rides we wanted to. Ferris wheel is extra but it was nice too. The staff are courteous and safety conscious. The rides were clean and well maintained.

Time off is precious - don’t squander it here

We confirmed in advance that the lazy river and pool would be open for our trip, neither are. Would not have booked had this been disclosed. The room itself is not nice/appealing enough to hang out in as an alternative, and now there is not even electricity. Not what you would expect from a Holiday Inn, and for IHG members you can’t use or earn points at this property anyway. Not a fun place to be.

A lot of fun packed into a couple of hours!

They have rides for the little kids and big kids! Get the all-day wristband! We had 2 teens who were running one ride, that had the enthusiasm of tar! They wouldn’t let the kids ride again though it was 6pm and not a sole else waiting. Other than that, it was a blast.

Disappointed kids, false advertising.

Before we chose this amusement park, my husband and I checked the website to see which rides were available for our 4 and 5 year olds. There seemed to be a decent number (15 total) that were appropriate for their ages. According to the website, the rides are divided into 3 areas- the east, west, and central pavilions surrounding a very large shopping center. I paid $35 each for three passes ($105 total) to ride these 15 rides. The boys enjoyed a few of the rides, but were most looking forward to the bumper cars and motorcycle ride. After walking around for quite a while, I was unable to find the bumper cars, so I asked a park employee who told me that the bumper cars were in another part of the park, and this employee pointed the way. After a long hot walk with my 2 boys and 1 yr old, I found no bumper cars. In fact, after asking at the same kiosk where I bought the tickets, I was told that the the entire west pavilion had been removed. It turns out that the website was "outdated," and the manager informed me that its not his responsibility to tell customers that many of the rides they paid for are no longer there, and I was handed a paper showing which rides were currently available. As I looked through it, I learned that 6 of the 15 kid friendly rides advertised on their site were gone... that's over 30%. This is extreme false advertising. They had a responsibility to give me this information before I paid $105 for 9 kiddie rides. Outrageous! And he had the nerve to tell me that my kids where having a good time anyway, without the other rides. He also informed me that if I had called the park's answering service I would have found out which rides were gone... Who does that?! No one! Why? Because the park has a website! They even tried to blame it on the virus, which MIGHT excuse the outdated site, but certainly does not explain why they didn't hand me that paper before they took my money. The virus, in no way, prevented them from saying " hey, by the way, a bunch of kiddie rides are gone." Exhausted from the heat and from arguing with the park employees, who did not want to accept any level of accountability, I was begrudgingly given what I asked for- a partial refund of $35 by the annoyed manager. It wasn't just the money, it was the false advertising, lack of accountability, and indignant manager that were upsetting. Badly done, Pavilion, badly done.
Oh yeah, one employee told me that the missing pavilion was along the boardwalk and that I could uses my passes there. I asked the manager, he said this was false.

Expensive but good mix of rides for ages
Aug 2019
Large park - lots of shops and rides. Bands are expensive (to be fair we did not look too hard for discount packages).

Good mix of rides for different ages of people - especially good rides for little kids.

Can get busy - go on off times if you can to maximize the rides/minimize the wait.

I know they have to make money - but pricing for water etc was really high IMO.

Staff were all very friendly.

Not worth it
Aug 2019 • Family
Agree with many of the other reviews. The height requirements are not clear online and if you are under 45 inches tall most require a PAID adult. So anticipate a lot of disappointment or fork over more money. The staff were incredibly and blatantly rude - except for one they wouldn’t even acknowledge either of my young daughters hellos or thank you (did get a lot of blank stares and eye rolls though and this was directed at my well behaved 5 year old). And the most disappointing part was we took all of the above in stride but then the employees started closing random rides and almost all of the rides an hour early saying quote “sorry there isn’t enough business around to keep open”. (Pictured) We are your business. We paid period! And paid for the unlimited wrist band. They didn’t care.

Over priced. Reviews here are accurate!

We had 5 kids altogether. The sign by the ticket booth made it appear that all 5 would not be limited by height requirements. They need to UPDATE the signs. Definitely NOT the case. Our 42” daughter couldn’t go on several and needed an adult on others. Wristbands were $35 per child. $28 each when you buy 6. In addition, there is a $1 fee for using a credit card!
Many rides were closed, and others were permanently closed. The info pamphlets need to be updated, as the height requirements aren’t accurate. No signs posted for closing time. Rides closed at different times! The movie theater is closed permanently. It seems that’s reflective of the area. The staff was largely rude and dismissive. One I asked a question directly and she ignored me as if I weren’t talking or she didn’t speak the same language as me.
Paying by tickets is cost prohibitive. Most rides were 4 tickets. I think tickets were $1.50 each. The website had nearly no info about pricing.
I don’t know that we would bother to go again. Save your money for family time instead!

Too Expensive
May 2019 • Family
they do have some cute rides for kids but the rides are split up in to 3 different sections at Broadway On The Beach. (Broadway is awesome by the way) so you got a bit of a walk from each one. The wristband is extremely expensive with no discount that’s worth mentioning. Even the local discount is laughable. Once you pay,you find out many rides are not running. The service is very rude. I’ve seen them treat customers with such little respect. Seriously if y’all don’t like your jobs don’t work there. If you want family fun amusement park go to Family Kingdom. 💯 better staff, and rides. Until y’all lower your outrageous prices we won’t go and I’ll continue to let others know not to go
