Quiet Time for ME

It was wonderful to get to take a few moments for myself from all of the hustle and bustle of the holiday season. The setting was wonderful and beautiful.

But cost $10 for an out of state car to get in. Lots of horse apples going to the beach AND on the beach in one area. Not really inviting for humans. Not worth the cost.

The Myrtle beach State park is an amazing place for fishing at the pier, walking on the beach, camping or to simply spend a day with family and friends. The park also has a nature center where the children are showed to handle turtles, crabs and fishes. Also one of the best places in Myrtle beach to enjoy the sunset.... More

The Myrtle Beach state park is a great place to visit. Not only do you have the beach, you have parking, easy access to the beach and a fishing pier. I purchase a pass each year.

Myrtle Beach State Park is a beautiful state park for camping with water and electrical hook ups. Just a short walk to the beach. Camp store on site, clean restrooms/showers and close to all restaurants and entertainment. A great place to stay.

This is a very nice park, and the beach is not as crowded as the areas by the resorts. They have a nice nature trail, but the mosquitos were very bad when we went last week and we had to turn around and go back. If you are local and buy a Palmetto pass, you get a discount on the... More

This is such a great beach!! Hardly anyone was there while we visited and it was a treat to be there. Sea grass, wooden walkways to the beach. Saw pelicans fishing, seagulls, terns. Beach days are good days!

Absolutely beautiful park with great beach views. There are no crowds in the fall. The pier is pretty quiet too. Definitely worth it to see a more natural side of Myrtle Beach that isn't full of people!

A beautiful well-maintained State Park. The restrooms are clean. Enjoyed ice cream from the pier store. Low crowds & nice picnic areas. This is a much better place to spend time on the beach if you are visiting MB.

An excellent place to stop for an outing. Pristine beaches, nice walking trails and the quality of a state facility. A pleasant change from the bustle of the city.
