Kids love MBST campground and beach (1) because they aren't terribly concerned with privacy. If you like group camping with strangers, it's delightful! (2) because cargo planes, helicopters, and commercial flights fly soooo close to their kites. What an airshow--and it's free! (3) because kids love dogs and the dog:human ratio is about 2:1. (4) because sharks are so fascinating.... More

We stayed here in a tent for 6 days starting over Easter Weekend. The sites are pretty closed together, but with adequate trees between most. Our site lacked much shade at the hottest points in the day, but we strapped a tarp over our tent to reflect the sun. We were woke by the people around our site a couple... More

It is on the Beach and stretches inland quite a bit. Parking is abundant and you can access the Beach easily. Cost is $5 per person for the whole day.

Our family enjoyed visiting the Myrle Beach State Park. It is a nice stroll and provides a good time to take in the ocean while having good family conversation.

We stopped by to hike and have lunch while on a road trip. My impressions: *Loved the hiking trails! Were able to get a map from the guard station and make a nice loop through the maritime forest, about a mile. *LOVELY beach. Seriously. So lovely. We didn't swim but there were a lot of people out enjoying themselves. *Clean... More

We had a free pass through our resort but it is worth $5/each. We stayed for the day enjoying the sun. Great walking beach! I also enjoyed watching people fly their kites!

Beatiful place! A great place for a picnic. Lots of parking (in the shade). The boardwalk was nice. 🏖
