Part of the Springmaid Beach Resort, the Springmaid Pier stretches 1,060 feet into the ocean. The pier holds the state record for Spanish Mackerel and hosts numerous fishing tournaments. The pier's BARnacles Bar & Grille offers tasty food and drinks in a casual atmosphere. The kids will especially enjoy the hand-dipped ice cream!

There no longer is a Springmaid pier. All that's left are a few pieces of wood sticking out of the ocean. The hurricane took it out last October 2016. Don't know if they are rebuilding!!

So sad this Pier is no longer here. Enjoyed walking out on the longest Pier in Myrtle Beach. Hope they rebuild it.

This used to be a pretty pier but one of several in the south end. Garden City Pier and the one at Myrtle Beach State Park nearby are still there.

I can give it no stars because it was once a great place, but unfortunately, the hurricane completely destroyed this pier. I hope they can rebuild this wonderful landmark.
